James H. Kingsbury: Company D, 64^th Regiment, NY State Volunteers. Age - 23 years. Enlisted, September 13, 1861, at Rushford, to serve three years; mustered in as Private, Company D, September 24, 1861; promoted Corporal, October 31, 1862; wounded in action, December 13, 1862, at Fredericksburg, VA; promoted Sergeant in March, 1863; discharged for disability, June 23, 1864, at De Camp General Hospital, David's Island, New York Harbor.

He is buried in a cemetery on Hardy's Corner Road, Town of Rushford, Allegany County, NY. No sign for the cemetery but name of cemetery is probably Hardy's Corner Cemetery.
