Lewis (Louis) Tarbell

Lewis Tarbell : 64^th Regiment, NY State Volunteers. Age, 25 years. Enlisted, October 1, 1861, at Rushford, to serve three years; mustered in as Sergeant, Company D, October 5, 1861; discharged for disability, June 9, 1862, at St. Eliza Hospital, Washington, D.C.

Reference: "Adjutant General's Report, 1901". His first name is spelled "Louis" in AG's Report and spelled "Lewis" on his gravestone.

He is buried in White Cemetery, Rushford, Allegany County, NY.
