Commissioned 1^st Lieutenant, November 25, 1861, with rank from November 13, 1861, original; Captain, June 20, 1862, with rank from May 24, 1862, vice Wm. Fancher deceased; Major, not mustered, November 2, 1864, with rank from October 17, 1864, vice L.H. Fassett, not mustered.
