Hiram Merethew (Meinthen): Company B, 64^th Regiment, NY State Volunteers. Age, 29 years. Enlisted at Canandaiga, to serve three years, and mustered in as Private, Co. K, August 28, 1863; transferred to Co. G., October 13, 1864; mustered out with Company, July 14, 1865, near Washington, DC; born as Merthian, Merthiew and also known as Merethew and Meinthen.

His stone says "Co. B".
