Jedediah Allen: Company G, 64^th Regiment, NY State Volunteers. Age - 42 years. Enlisted October 10, 1861 at Ridgebury, PA to serve three years; mustered in as Private, Company G, October 14, 1861; deserted September 15, 1862, while marching through Maryland.

Adjutant General's Report lists him as being a deserter but that is probably not so since he was buried in the VA Hospital Cemetery. As per his stone, he was also in the 16th NY HA.
