A, November 2, 1861; wounded in action Dec. 13, 1862 at Fredericksburg, VA; promoted Corporal Oct. 17, 1863; re-enlisted as a veteran Feb. 24, 1864; wounded in action June 18, 1864 at Petersburg, VA; promoted Sergeant August 18, 1864; mustered in as 2nd Lieutenant on May 15, 1865; as First Lieutenant on May 16, 1865; mustered out with Company on July 14, 1865 near Washington, DC.
