Wellington C. Hugaboom
(name also spelled Hugoboom on various records and on his gravestone): Company A, 64th Regiment, NY State Volunteers. He enlisted in Versailles on October 5, 1861 at the age of 25 years. He was mustered in as a Private, Company A on October 9, 1861; wounded in action June 1, 1862 at Fair Oaks, VA; promoted Corporal on August 3, 1862; and Sergeant on February 18, 1863; Commissary Sergeant on June 20, 1863. He was mustered out on October 8, 1864 near Petersburg, VA.

He is buried in Rathbun Lawn Cemetery, Town of Hanover, Chautauqua County, NY.
