

Harmon Wells Reynolds
: Company I, 64th Regiment, NY State Volunteers, enlisted 21 August, 1861, at Allegany at the age of 36.

Harmon was born in Corinth, Saratoga, NY, 03 September, 1824, the tenth child of Samuel and Anna (Nancy) Satterlee Reynolds and relocated to Cattaraugus County, apparently with others of his family, about 1846 from Schroon, Essex County.
He married Hannah Cornelia LeRoy, b. 15 February, 1826, daughter of Abram and Mary Chaffee LeRoy of Chautauqua County, in Burton 25 July, 1848. Harmon enlisted 21 August, 1861, at Allegany at the age of 36. He was 6 feet tall, with dark complexion, dark brown eyes, and black hair.
He was a resident of Bentley Street, Allegany Village until 1869 when he relocated to Oil City, Venango County, PA, where he lived until his death 10 January, 1912. He is buried in Grove Hill Cemetery, Oil City, Section 6, Lot 14. He was a carpenter his entire life.
