William Glenny: Colonel, 64th Regiment, NY State Volunteers. William enlisted at age 30. He enrolled September 10, 1861 at Ithaca to serve 3 years. He was mustered in as Captain, Co. E, October 25, 1861; wounded in action June 1, 1862 at Fair Oaks, VA; mustered in as Major May 4,m 1864; as Lieutenant Colonel May 5, 1861; promoted Colonel, not mustered, November 30, 1864 with rank from October 6, 1864. He mustered out with Regiment July 14, 1865 near Washington, DC.
