Charles B. Waters (Worters)


Charles B. Waters (Worters), Company A, 64^th Regiment, NY State Volunteers. Charles ("Charley") was born circa 1841, son of John W. and Mary Worters/Waters. He enlisted at Gowanda, NY on September 7, 1861 at age 20 years. He was to serve 3 years. He was mustered in as a Private on September 20, 1861. Charles died of disease on February 12, 1862 at Camp California, VA (Alexandria) at age 21 years.
