    Lyman Jeffords/Jefferds: Company F and H, 64th Regiment, NY State Volunteers: Age 18 years. Enlisted October 1, 1861 at Randolph to serve three years; mustered in as Private, Co. F on Oct. 9, 1861; wounded in action December 13, 1862 at Fredericksburg, VA; captured in action July 2, 1863 at Gettysburg, PA; paroled, no date; re-enlisted as a veteran on December 20, 1863; promoted Sergeant July 1, 1861; captured in action August 25, 1864 at Reams Station, VA; paroled, no date; transferred to Company H on Sept. 9, 1864; mustered out on June 30, 1865 at Elmira, NY, a paroled prisoner.
