Edmond Stone

Edmond (Edward) Stone, Jr.: Company D, 64th Regiment, NY State Volunteers. Enlisted October 15, 1861, at Rushford, to serve three years; mustered in as Private, Co. D on October 19, 1861; wounded in action, December 13, 1862, at Fredericksburg, VA; promoted Corporal, March 1863; killed in action, July 2, 1863, at Gettysburg, PA.

Adjutant General's Report gives his name as Edward Stone, Jr.

He is buried at the National Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA. There is a memorial stone for him at Rawson Road Cemetery, Lundon, Cattaraugus County, NY.
